Krispy Kreme had obtained a spot in the Queensland's Airport to open a new store. Hoarding was going to be put up while the store was constructed, there was an opportunity to design a running banner that would build up anticipation and excitement.

I had gone with a diorama theme, creating the illusion of layers with the doughnuts, clouds and aeroplanes relating back to the fact the store was located in an airport. creating a bit of fun and interactive element as a photo opportunity, whilst also promoting the store opening message.

As the banners had a lot of design space I saw the chance to prompt travellers to interact with the banner, as it has been a popular trend to do so in the Sydney departure gate. So why not create a fun photo op for those travellers who are wandering around the airport trying to kill time. Who doesn't love a good airport selfie? I hoped the design created anticipation and curiosity on the new store, also creating a fun, enjoyable banner to interact with.
